Whether it’s a bear or bull economy, it is vital that your business has a marketing strategy to drive prospects to you. Now more than ever companies need to create a strong brand awareness; to promote themselves so that when their target audience knows where to go when they are ready to buy. Creating and implementing a marketing strategy may not sound like it’s such a big deal, but I’m hear to tell you otherwise. Today when I think back to those days, I probably knew intuitively that I should be doing more to promote the business, but then there was the logical side of me that said marketing is all well and good, but we don’t have the money. Like so many other companies, I thought advertising & promotion was something only the big boys could afford to do. Over time as I read more and learned more, I found that there are multitudes of ways for a company to promote their business in big way and do it on a shoestring budget. Old school thinking would call this guerilla marketing, I call it smart marketing. That’s why I’ve designed the workshop, Advertising & Promotion on a Shoestring Budget, No Budget, Low Budget Ways to Market Your Business. Whether you are an SME, MNC or SOHO operation, you need to have at least a basic A&P strategy. I can hear you thinking, that’s easier said than done. That’s okay. This is where I can help. What I’ve done is to break down the creation of an A&P strategy to into a simplified step-by-step process. We start by identifying what your company’s objectives are. Then you will determine a budget to be set for an A&P campaign (referred to as a campaign because there will be a variety of promotional activities that you would use that make up your strategy). I’ve had people work with as little as S$1000 or less a month and that’s okay too. In effect, your staff will learn how to become their own ‘advertising agency’ and tap their own creativity to eliminate expensive outsourcing. I’ll share with them over 70 tools/practices that they can do, some instantaneously, to market the business with little or no expense. They learn how to use free word-of-mouth marketing, use the internet for free word-of-mouse marketing and much more. The only cost is the time you invest in the process. The beauty of this training is that you become aware of all the different tools available and then we work together to determine what works best for your company based on your objectives and your budget.
